The following terms regulate the use of the website named PROPÓSITO DE VIDA, which has been made available by ENSEÑANZA E INVESTIGACIÓN SUPERIOR A.C., hereinafter referred to as UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO, through the website https://miproposito.tecmilenio.mx.

The use of the SITE by any person grants them the status of USER, which implies full and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions. Consequently, it is essential that the USER reads and evaluates them before accessing the SITE to be aware that they are subject to these terms and any modifications that may occur each time they access the SITE.

If at any time the USER does not fully or partially agree with the terms, they must immediately refrain from using the SITE, in any of its parts or sections. The USER acknowledges that certain sections of the SITE may contain specific stipulations that, depending on the case, may replace, supplement, and/or modify these TERMS OF USE (hereinafter, the SPECIFIC CONDITIONS). For this reason, it is also essential that the USER reads them beforehand, and if they do not fully or partially agree with them, they must refrain from using the part or section of the SITE governed by such SPECIFIC CONDITION(S). If the USER chooses to use the section of the SITE governed by one or more SPECIFIC CONDITIONS, they will be deemed to have fully and unconditionally accepted them.

Failure to comply with these terms and conditions will result in the denial of access to the SITE for the USER, without prejudice to any applicable legal actions.

Access to and use of the SITE provided by UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO is free of charge for USERS. However, some SITE functionalities require payment, such as "Education Services." The USER acknowledges that they must comply with the policies established for such Services to access them. The USER is only required to register or sign up on the SITE when explicitly requested to do so.

Through the SITE, UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO provides USERS with access to the free PROPÓSITO DE VIDA course, which allows the USER to discover their purpose in life through a questionnaire. Based on the results, they will receive recommendations for habits, training, courses, seminars, etc., that may help them achieve their purpose in life, all available at https://miproposito.tecmilenio.mx, provided by UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO or by individuals directly or indirectly associated with such information (hereinafter, the CONTENTS).

The term "Service" refers to the services provided through our SITE, any associated software, applications, and internet services under our control, whether in whole or in part, used in connection with the provision of our Services. The Service provides an online platform that allows USERS to access information on classes, courses, workshops, videos, and other educational programs and events (collectively, "Courses"). These Courses may be available free of charge or for a fee, at our sole discretion. Together with our instructors, teaching assistants, career counselors, advisors, student success managers, thought leaders, and experienced professionals (collectively, "Instructors"), we offer a comprehensive curriculum focused on developing skills in high-demand areas. The Service also enables the community of users to engage in discussions and communications with each other and with the Instructors.

To access the Courses, the USER must register/enroll in a Course. We cannot guarantee Course availability.

The USER acknowledges that using the SITE does not grant them any ownership rights over it, any of its elements, or its CONTENTS.

UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO reserves the right to modify, at any time and without prior notice, the presentation, configuration, information, CONTENTS, and any aspect related directly or indirectly to the SITE.

Fees may be charged for attending a Course. UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO reserves the right to modify the amount of any fee from time to time, which may vary depending on the region and the specific Course.

The USER agrees to pay to enroll in the Course. Only payment methods accepted by our third-party payment processor may be used to purchase Courses.

Courses or educational materials recommended in the TRAINING section may require a fee to attend. The USER acknowledges and agrees that UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO is not directly involved in such charges, as they pertain to THIRD-PARTY content. The USER assumes full responsibility for accessing the sites of these THIRD PARTIES, adhering to their terms and conditions, and making the required payments to enroll in the Course.

The USER agrees to use the SITE and the CONTENTS in accordance with applicable laws, these TERMS OF USE, and public order. The USER is obligated to use the SITE and any CONTENT or related aspects in a manner that does not harm the rights or interests of UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO, individuals directly or indirectly linked to it, or third parties. The USER shall use the SITE and/or CONTENTS in a way that does not damage, disable, deteriorate, or impair them, either wholly or partially.

The USER shall refrain from obtaining or attempting to obtain information, messages, graphics, drawings, sound and/or image files, photographs, recordings, software, and, in general, any kind of material accessible through the SITE or the CONTENTS.

The CONTENTS and elements found on the SITE may only be used through the means or procedures established and indicated within the SITE.

The USER is obligated to use the CONTENTS and the elements used on the SITE diligently, correctly, and lawfully. Specifically, the USER agrees to refrain from: (a) using the CONTENTS in a manner, for purposes, or with effects contrary to the law, public order, and the provisions established by UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO for the use of this SITE; (b) copying, disseminating, modifying, reproducing, distributing, or using the CONTENTS and elements of the SITE in any way, whether for profit or not, unless expressly authorized in writing by UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO; (c) altering or manipulating trademarks, logos, trade names, commercial notices, or any distinctive signs related to UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO, the SITE, or persons directly or indirectly linked to UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO (unless expressly authorized in writing); (d) removing, bypassing, or modifying the CONTENTS and elements used on the SITE, as well as technical protection devices or any established security mechanism.

UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO declares that all CONTENTS and elements used on the SITE are duly registered and protected under relevant Mexican authorities and laws. The USER is obligated to respect all Intellectual Property rights over the CONTENTS and elements used on the SITE owned by UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO.

By merely accessing the SITE, the USER acknowledges and accepts that the use of the SITE and its CONTENTS is under their exclusive and strict responsibility. UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO shall not, under any circumstances, be liable for any malfunction or issues arising in the USER's computing equipment (hardware) or software used to access or browse any part of the SITE.

To use certain parts of the Service, the USER must create an account. The USER represents and warrants that the information provided at registration and at any other time will be true, accurate, current, and complete. The USER also warrants that this information will remain accurate and updated at all times.

The USER is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials and is fully accountable for all activities conducted under their credentials. Exclusion of Warranties and Liability for Site and Content Operation, Viruses, and Other Harmful Elements. UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO does not control and does not guarantee the absence of viruses in the CONTENTS, nor the absence of other elements that may alter the USER's computer system (software and/or hardware) or electronic documents and files stored in their system.

The recommendations section titled FORMACIÓN is intended as an INTEREST-BASED RECOMMENDATION section. The USER acknowledges and accepts that there are no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information. The materials presented in the recommendations section are for general information only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more precise, complete, or recent sources. By relying on any material from the website named PROPÓSITO DE VIDA, the USER does so at their own risk.

As a private, non-profit, independent institution without political or religious affiliations, UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO does not allow the publication of content that contradicts this nature. It reserves the right to accept or suggest external sites, sub-sites, or materials of interest to USERS. UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO is not responsible for such sites, materials, or the USER's access or use of them.

Likewise, any external site and/or sub-site may contain a link (hyperlink, 'link') to the SITE or CONTENTS with or without UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO's authorization. UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO is not responsible for the origin, use, or destination of such links. Similarly, the party responsible for external sites linking to the SITE and/or CONTENTS is not necessarily authorized to do so or to promote UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO, the SITE, or the CONTENTS. UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO assumes no responsibility for such sites, their content, or any advertising, unless covered by a previously signed contract.

UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO reserves the right to deny or withdraw access to the SITE and/or CONTENTS at any time and without prior notice, either on its initiative or at the request of any individual, for any USER, for any reason, including but not limited to improper use of the SITE, its sections, or CONTENTS, or failure to comply with these TERMS OF USE or applicable SPECIFIC CONDITIONS.

The SITE has an indefinite duration, whereas the Services and CONTENTS may have a defined duration based on payment policies and the specific service or course the USER enrolls in. However, UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO may terminate, suspend, or interrupt the SITE and/or any CONTENTS at any time without prior notice.

The USER agrees to strictly follow any instructions provided by UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO or its authorized personnel related to the SITE, in connection with any mechanism or procedure established for using the SITE and CONTENTS. The USER must only follow instructions issued by UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO.

The USER is responsible for any damage and/or harm of any nature caused by failing to comply with these TERMS OF USE or any applicable regulations, thereby releasing UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO from any civil, criminal, administrative, or other liability.

Without prejudice to the provisions of the previous paragraph, in the event that UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO is sanctioned or sentenced by a competent authority in any proceeding related to civil, criminal, administrative, or any other liability, it will notify the responsible USER, who must pay UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO the amount to which it has been sentenced, as well as any legal costs, attorney fees, and other expenses incurred, within 15 calendar days following notification. If payment is delayed beyond the indicated period, the USER agrees to pay UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO, as a penalty clause, an amount equivalent to the principal debt.

To use or access some of the CONTENTS, the USER must first provide UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO with certain personal data (hereinafter PERSONAL DATA), which UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO may process automatically or manually. By accessing the SITE or any CONTENTS requiring PERSONAL DATA, the USER authorizes UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO to conduct analyses and studies based on such data.

The USER agrees to provide true and reliable PERSONAL DATA, and if they choose not to provide such data in the sections where it is required, they must refrain from using those sections of the SITE. If the USER provides false or misleading information, UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO may deny access to the SITE and its CONTENTS without prejudice to any claims for damages that may arise.

By providing their PERSONAL DATA on the SITE, the USER authorizes UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO to disclose the relevant information to any competent authority if required through proper legal channels. UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO will not share any personal information provided with third parties unless necessary to provide a service or product requested by the USER.

To be admitted to DISCOVER YOUR LIFE PURPOSE, offered on the website named LIFE PURPOSE by UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO, the applicant must be over 18 (eighteen) years old and have the necessary prior knowledge indicated on the page https://miproposito.tecmilenio.mx

If the USER is under 18 (eighteen) years old and wishes to enroll in the courses offered on the LIFE PURPOSE website by UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO, they must ensure compliance with the aforementioned requirements and then request enrollment by sending an email with the subject: Enrollment Request for a Minor in LIFE PURPOSE. Upon receiving this email, UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO’s team will evaluate the feasibility of enrollment. If allowed, UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO will send the parents, guardians, or responsible parties an authorization form, which must be signed and returned with all required details completed. No claims will be accepted against a decision denying enrollment to a minor under 18 years of age.

If any of these conditions are not met, UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO reserves the right to deny admission to the USER.

It is the USER's responsibility to ensure they have the necessary technical equipment to access the course, releasing UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO from any liability should they proceed with enrollment despite lacking such equipment.

If, at the request of UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO, the USER submits specific communications (e.g., program feedback) or, without a request from us, submits creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials—whether online, via email, postal mail, or otherwise (hereinafter collectively referred to as 'comments')—the USER agrees that UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO may, at any time and without restriction: edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate, and use in any medium any comments submitted. UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO has no obligation to (1) maintain any comment confidentially; (2) compensate for any comment; or (3) respond to any comment.

UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO may, but is not obligated to, monitor, edit, or remove content that, at its sole discretion, is deemed illegal, offensive, threatening, defamatory, libelous, pornographic, obscene, objectionable, or that violates any party's intellectual property or these Terms and Conditions.

The USER agrees that their comments do not infringe upon any third-party rights, including copyrights, trademarks, privacy, personality rights, or other personal or proprietary rights. Additionally, the USER agrees that their comments will not contain defamatory, unlawful, abusive, or obscene material, nor will they contain any computer virus or other harmful software that could affect the operation of the Service or any related website.

The USER agrees not to use a false email address, impersonate another person, or otherwise mislead UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO or third parties regarding the origin of the comments. The USER acknowledges and agrees that they are solely responsible for the comments they make and their accuracy.

The USER understands and agrees that UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO is not responsible for any communication between members of its community that takes place outside the official communication channels of PROPÓSITO DE VIDA, and that UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO assumes no responsibility or liability for any comments posted by the USER or a third party.

UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO does not guarantee the absence of potential technical difficulties or system or internet failures.

UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO does not guarantee uninterrupted access and use of the website https://miproposito.tecmilenio.mx, the PROPÓSITO DE VIDA virtual learning platform, or any external platforms used for course delivery, applications, or programs related to the course. The system may become unavailable due to technical difficulties, internet failures, or any other circumstances beyond the control of UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO.

In such cases, and solely regarding this website and/or the PROPÓSITO DE VIDA virtual learning platform, UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO will make every reasonable effort to restore service as quickly as possible.

UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO is a community focused on learning and developing knowledge and skills. Upon admission, the USER agrees to abide by the Code of Conduct, which details the expected behavior of our USERS.

Any violation of these terms will be subject to review, and UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO may take any necessary actions, including terminating the service. UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO reserves the right of admission and continued participation.

Form. The USER agrees that a printed version of these TERMS AND CONDITIONS and any communication sent and/or received electronically shall be admissible as evidence in any judicial and/or administrative proceeding.

For the interpretation, compliance, and enforcement of these Terms and Conditions, the USER agrees that the applicable laws and competent courts shall be those of Monterrey, Nuevo León, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction or venue that may correspond due to their present or future domicile or for any other reason.

If any of the TERMS AND CONDITIONS stated herein is deemed unenforceable, null, or invalid under applicable law, it shall be replaced by a valid provision that most closely fulfills the intent of the unenforceable, null, or invalid provision. The remaining terms and conditions shall remain in full force and effect.

Any rights not expressly granted in this document are reserved by UNIVERSIDAD TECMILENIO.
